The apartment features a welcoming living room, a fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with two single beds and a cosy sitting corner, and two bathrooms. The atmosphere is quiet and residential, while the best of Cannaregio is right outside the door.

The entrance is on the ground floor, making arrival easy. Here you will find the living and dining room, kitchen and one bathroom. Upstairs, the sleeping area feels separate and quiet, with a king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom with a cosy sitting corner, and the second bathroom. Both bathrooms have a shower and bidet, with hairdryer and quality toiletries provided.

A corner of Venice with centuries of stories.
Alga d'Oro sits beside the historic home of Jacopo Robusti, known as Tintoretto, one of the greatest exponents of Venetian painting and of Mannerist art more broadly. He lived in this corner of Cannaregio in the 16th century. Just outside, Campo dei Mori and its stone figures preserve one of the neighbourhood's most distinctive stories.
It is one of the details we love most about this part of Venice: art and history are not somewhere you have to travel to — they are woven into the streets around the house.

A member of our trusted local team will contact you a few days before your stay to confirm your arrival time and will meet you in person, show you the apartment and answer any questions about the house or the city.

What are check-in and check-out times?＋
Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Late check-in is available until midnight with a €50 surcharge, payable in cash on arrival. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
Who will meet me on arrival?＋
A member of our trusted local team will contact you a few days beforehand to confirm your arrival time. They will welcome you in person, guide you to the apartment, explain everything you need and answer questions about Venice.
Can I store my luggage nearby?＋
Yes. If you arrive before check-in or leave after check-out, nearby options include Self Luggage Storage Cannaregio (Fondamenta dei Ormesini, 2627) and Bounce Luggage Storage Castello (Calle Loredan), both only a short walk away.
How do I get there from Marco Polo Airport?＋
From Venice Marco Polo Airport, take the Alilaguna Orange Line ferry (approximately 30 minutes) to Madonna dell’Orto, from where the apartment is less than a 5-minute walk away.
How do I get there from the train station or Piazzale Roma?＋
From Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station, you can either walk to the apartment in ~16 minutes or take vaporetto Line 5.2 from Ferrovia “D” to Orto (~15 minutes). Alternatively, from Piazzale Roma, you can take vaporetto Line 5.2 from P.le Roma “D” to Orto (~19 minutes).
How are the bedrooms arranged?＋
There are two bedrooms upstairs: one with a king-size bed and one with two single beds plus a cosy sitting corner. The home has two bathrooms, both with shower and bidet, and we provide a hairdryer and quality toiletries.
Is the Venice city tax included?＋
The city tax is collected separately according to Venice Municipality rules. We will send the exact amount and instructions before arrival.
